What Is NYCNFT?

You find yourself asking the question, what is NYC.NFT?
The conference known as NYC NFT is a yearly 3 day event that brings people of all walks of life that are interested in all matters pertaining to art and non-fungible tokens (NFT). Jodee Rich, an Australian businessman, is one of the Co-Founders that leads the NFT NYC Conference. The NFT NYC community founded the organization in 2018, and the first event was held in February 2019. The core team members include:
Michael Battaglia, Toni Macri, LJ Johnson, Noah Eisenbruch, Isaac French, and Janine Pearson.

A Bit About Jodee
John David "Jodee" Rich is a man who built an empire from humble beginnings. His father, Steven Rich, a German Jewish immigrant, made his mark in Australia back in 1963, managing Hunter Douglas, a Venetian blind company. His father’s achievements were pretty impressive; he founded Traveland travel agency, served as deputy chairman of the Salvation Army in '71, and even received an Order of Australia in 2001. Later, he founded Focus Publishing.
Jodee wrote his first software program on punch cards in 1972 at the age of 12 (I was still playing with legos at that age lol). He was educated at Cranbrook School in Bellevue Hill, Sydney. During his Cranbrook days Rich started a business renting fish tanks. At Cranbrook he met Rodney Adler, who would go on to become a director of One.Tel. In 1980 Rich developed a commodity analysis system on 64k Apple II, which he later sold to investment banks (big moves).

NFT.NYC, officially dubbed the “Super Bowl” of NFTs is one of the biggest and most respected gatherings in the world for all things NFT. Picture this: three days jam-packed with fans, influencers, and developers of NFTs, all coming together right in the heart of New York City. And get this - this year's event drew in thousands of artists, enthusiasts, and speakers across various venues.

Despite all the noise and doubts surrounding NFTs, NFT.NYC stays true to its mission of giving the NFT community a platform, bringing folks together, and spreading the word about the value of NFTs. Attendees keep coming back for the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and educate the global community about NFTs.
Media Hype
And you know who's really jumping on the NFT bandwagon? The media and entertainment crowd. They've been diving headfirst into NFT tech, looking to not only diversify their revenue but also amp up fan experiences. Just look at Live Nation and their Live Stubs initiative - giving fans NFTs alongside their event tickets. It's all about bringing back that old-school ticket stub nostalgia while forging deeper connections with fans.
